Pannone Engineering Services, LLC (PES) is a privately owned company that was founded in February of 1991. PES specializes in the design, testing and installation of on-site water and waste water systems. PES perform's engineering designs, analysis and evaluations of water and waste water systems throughout the state of Alaska. The types of systems have ranged from small single-family residential wells and septic systems (COSA) to large commercial systems serving greater than 100 people daily.
Mr. Pannone is a registered Civil Engineer specializing in the planning, design and construction of sanitation facilities. He is a lifelong Alaskan with more than 30 years of engineering and construction experience. Mr. Pannone's background includes experience in survey, design, construction, testing, and monitoring of engineered projects. He has worked all over the state of Alaska, including extensive time in the arctic and remote regions. He takes a practical approach to design, taking into account how and who is going to be doing the construction. He has hands on experience in the construction of water and wastewater systems, buildings and large earth works projects. Mr. Pannone is a certified ADEC water/wastewater designer and sanitary surveyor.
With our roots planted firmly in Alaska, PES recognizes that to successfully complete projects in rural Alaska today, you need a complete team with a broad range of talents. This team must provide services including planning, grant writing, surveying, engineering design, RFP development, construction phase services, contract negotiation, and operations and maintenance training.

Mr. Pannone is a registered Civil & Environmental Engineer in Alaska (CE 8149/EV 14324) and Florida (PE 58377) specializing in the planning, design, and construction of large and small engineering projects, including rural and metropolitan airports; water, sewer, and storm drain systems; parking areas for commercial buildings, ports, airports, and housing developments; and above and below ground fuel storage facilities. He has sixteen years experience in the management of Corps of Engineers, Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Housing and Urban Development, Municipality of Anchorage, and Federal Aviation Administration funded and managed projects. He is a lifelong Alaskan with more than 30 years of engineering and construction experience. Mr. Pannone's background includes experience in survey, design, construction, testing, and monitoring of engineered projects. He has worked all over the state of Alaska, including extensive time in the arctic and remote regions. He takes a practical approach to design, taking into account how and who is going to be doing the construction. He has hands on experience in the construction of buildings and large earth works projects, as well as the monitoring and testing of engineering projects. Mr. Pannone is also a certified asbestos manager/planner and an ADEC/MOA certified water/waste water designer and sanitary surveyor. Mr. Pannone is a licensed private pilot with over 1000 hours of flight time.
|Dan Moran||Mr. Moran is the Senior Project Designer for Pannone Engineering Services LLC. He has 15 years experience in engineering and construction. Mr. Moran has worked all over the world and the state of Alaska. He takes a practical approach to design, taking into account how and who is going to be doing the installation. He also has hands on experience in the construction of large earth works projects as well as the monitoring and testing of engineering projects.|
|Joe (Ski) Lawendowski||Mr. Lawendowski comes to PES from the Alaska Army National Guard. Ski has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Arctic Engineering and a Master of Strategic studies. He is also a licensed Home Inspector and is quickly becoming a valuable asset to PES.|
|Ringleader||It takes a Ringleader with 20+ years of professional administrative skills to keep this wild engineering herd organized.|
|Nick Curtis||Mr. Curtis is the Technician for Pannone Engineering Services LLC. He is responsible for the Septic and Well Adequacy testing (COSA), coordination of the MoA required paperwork and repair scheduling. Mr. Curtis drives as far north as Houston and south to Homer, but PES does Septic and Well testing all over the great state of Alaska.|
